Create your first internal release for Google Android

This procedure is mandatory and is to be performed manually by the Merchant.

Workflow

  1. Merchant creates app in Google Console

  2. Merchant releases first manual version of the app on the Google Console

  3. The following releases will come from the Version manager system.

Prerequisites

Your mobile app has been created in your Google Play. If your app has not yet been created, see Create an Android App.

Procedure

  1. In the side menu, go to Testing > Internal testing.

  2. In the Internal testing window, click Create new release.

  3. Upload your AAB file.

  4. Enter a release name, for example First Release.

  5. In the Release notes field, do the following if your app is in Hebrew:

    1. Replace the <en-US> tag with <he-IL>

    2. Replace the </en-US> tag with </he-IL>

  6. Click Review release.

  7. Click Start rollout to internal testing.

  8. Click the Testers tab, and do the following:

  9. Add your testers, and copy the URL.

  10. Select the testers, and click Save changes.

  11. Go to the shelfy.io back-office, and create a new version for your Google Android mobile app.
