Connect shelfy.io to Apple App Store

This article describes how to connect shelfy.io to your Apple App Store.

After you connect shelfy.io to your Apple Developer Account, you can create new versions of your mobile app and deploy them to the Apple App Store from your Back Office.

This article guides you through the following steps to connect shelfy.io to your Apple Developer Account:

  • Step 1: Paste the Bundle ID into Apple Developer.

  • Step 2: Paste your Apple Team Name and Team ID into shefly.io

  • Step 3: Generate a new API key

Step 1: Paste the Bundle ID into Apple Developer

A bundle ID or bundle identifier is a unique identifier of an app in Apple's ecosystem.

  1. In shelfy.io, copy the bundle ID.

  2. Log in to App Store Connect, and click the App Store logo.

  3. Select Users and Access.

  4. Click Certificates, Identifiers, & Profiles.

  5. Click the Identifiers Add (+) button. The Apple ID should already have been registered.

  6. Click Continue.

  7. When prompted to select a type, make sure App is selected, and click Continue.

  8. In shelfy.io, go to Version Manager > Stores Connection.

  9. Scroll down to Connect to AppStore, and copy the bundleid.

  10. Go back to the Apple Developer Certificates, Identifiers, & Profiles screen.

  11. Paste the bundle id in the Bundle ID box, click Continue, and then Register.

Step 2: Paste your Apple Team Name and Team ID into shefly.io

  1. Click the Membership tab.

  2. Scroll down to your Team Name and Team ID.

  3. In your back office, click Version Manager.

  4. Paste your Apple Team Name and Team ID into Firebase.

Step 3: Generate a new API key

  1. Click the App Store logo and select Users and Access.

  2. Under the sectionCertificates, Identifiers, & Profiles, click the Keys Add (+) button.

  3. Generate a new API key. This key will also be your P8 File.

  4. In order to get the issuer ID you can find it on the Users and Access when you click the App Store Connect API
