Create a Google Android App

  1. Go to .

  2. On the side menu select "all apps" then click "create app"

  3. Enter your app details as follows:

    • In the App or game section, choose the App option.

    • In the Free or paid section, choose the Free option.

  4. Select the app you wish to set up.

  5. In the side menu, go to App content, and select Privacy policy.

  6. Click Start.

  7. Enter your privacy policy URL, and click Save.

Internal testing

  1. In the side menu, click Internal testing.

  2. In the Internal testing window, click Create new release.

  3. Upload the App bundle file

    • Go to Shelfy consol Backoffice: Version manager/stores connection/developers account

    • Send an email to yourself in order to get the bundle file.

      IMPORTANT: Do not leave this page without first saving.

    • Upload the file to the app bundle section

  4. Add the release details:

  5. Release name: Choose a meaningful name, for example First Release.

  6. Release notes: If your app is in Hebrew, replace the <en-US> tag with <he-IL> and replace the </en-US> tag with </he-IL>.

  7. Click Review release.

  8. Click Start rollout to internal testing.

  9. When prompted, click Rollout.

Add your testers

  1. Click the Testers tab and than click on Create email list

  2. Add your testers and copy the link.

  3. Select the testers, and click Save changes.

  4. Click the Release tab.

  5. In the Promote release drop down, select Production. Note: Make sure to test your app before promoting it to production

Complete the setup

  1. Go to the dashboard, and complete the app setup.

  2. Click add new instructions

  3. Enter the demo user data: - testuser@shelfy.io - 123456sh

  4. Go to Ads.

  5. Choose the No, my app does not contain ads option, and click Save.

  6. Enter your info email address, and choose the All Other App Types option.

  7. Optional: If you sell age restricted products on your app, choose Yes for age restrictions, and do the following:

    • Go to Dashboard > Target audience and content.

    • In the Target age group, choose 18 and over.

  8. Select Data safety, and click Save.

  9. Choose the following options:

Contact details

  1. Select an app category and provide contact details.

  2. Select App, and then select Shopping. IMPORTANT: The following details appear in the store market place as PUBLIC AVAILABLE DATE

    • Add you info email address

    • Add your phone number

  3. Set up your store listing.

  4. Enter the App details info, and set your app screenshots and images.

  5. Go to the Dashboard > release your app section.

Add countries

  1. Add countries or regions.

  2. Add countries or regions you want to provide service to.

  3. When prompted, click Add.
